As many of you know, the Manananggal is one of the well-known aswangs from Philippine Myths and Legends. She is known to detach her torso from her lower half, then takes flight during the night to feed on infants. But this is not the reason why it was designed.
Did you know that she was also known to seduce men with her beauty and lure them to a private place before eating them alive? It’s said that she holds grudges against men because when she was human, she was left alone at the altar on her wedding day. Now that’s the kind of drama I’m looking for! 😆😆😂
I think almost every woman has a little Manananggal in her. We’ve all been heart-broken, betrayed, and lead on by men we thought we trusted. From all this pain, we’ve become bitter, more cautious, a little crazy, but definitely much stronger! We refuse to give our hearts so easily. If one tries to deceive us again, you can bet we’ll fight harder, scream louder, and rip his heart to pieces.
